Life Giving Water- April 5-13 Exhibit at BAFFA Gallery in Sayville NY

Looks like I didn't give you all the dates.  April 5-13, 2014 is when this body of work can be seen.  Cathy and I will be at the reception on Palm Sunday April 13th from 1-4.

BAFFA Exhibit Life Giving Water highlights Artist Michelle Yozzo Drake and Photographer Catherine Hoffman

Both Cathy and I are excited to return to my home town of Sayville (a town that Cathy is very familiar with as she grew up a few towns away in Medford) to the Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts (BAFFA) Gallery in the Gillette House at 47 Gillette Avenue in Sayville New York.  For those of you who don't know...that is on Long Island.

This show is a highlight of Cathy's photography and my paintings.  Both of our work is spiritual in nature ( you all know that my art is my prayer!).  But what you may not know is that Cathy did all of the photography for my book "The Art of Prayer"  As you walk through this exhibit (which I hope that you will!) you will see our exploration of water as an affirming, energizing, soothing and sometimes frightening force of nature.

We will be at the Artist Reception on Palm Sunday from 1-4 and look forward to sharing our work and answering any questions that you may have.
